Susan Boyle Back On Top On US Album Chart


Susan Boyle's The Gift has reclaimed the number one spot on the US album chart.

The singer slipped to number four last week following the release of Kanye West and Nicki Minaj's album.

Boyle's second album sold another 267,350 copies, almost twice as many as her closest competitor, Taylor Swift's Speak Now.

Susan Boyle Worth £11 million

It has been reported that the Britain Got Talent singer Susan Boyle is worth £11 million.

The Scottish singer turned into a mega success 18 months ago. Since then Boyle has been nominated for a Grammy and topped the charts worldwide selling over 12 million records.

Cliff Dane, who compiles The Sunday Times Rich List, said: "I estimate she is currently worth £11million based on royalties and advances accumulated to date, fees from other sources less tax and including something for the present value of future royalty streams from her two albums."

Rihanna revealed on Twitter how ecstatic she was when she heard the news that Britain's Got Talent singer Susan Boyle wanted to work with her.

"Hold up! I might be a lil late, but just heard that THEE SuBo wants to collab wit ME??!?" she wrote.

Susan Boyle's sophomore Christmas themed album 'The Gift' has topped the UK album chart.

The 49-year-old's debut album, 'I Dreamed A Dream' sold over ten million copies and became the fastest-selling debut record of all time.

Boyle thanked her fans with this message.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported me all this time," she declared. "My dreams just keep coming true."
