Jennifer Lopez Takes on American Idol To Help Husband's Debts

It has been reported that Jennifer Lopez is taking only taking on her American Idol judging role to help husband Marc Anthony pay his debts.

According to E! Online, Latino pop singer Anthony has an estimated $3.4m (£2.2m) in unpaid taxes with the Internal Revenue Service.

A New York judgements and liens filing dating back to March 29 records that Anthony was billed with a tax lien on property he owns in Long Island.

The singer also had a lien filed against the same real estate in December 2009 for $1.6m (£1m), bringing the total amount owed to the IRS to $3.4m.

The new American Idol judge said in a statement.

Jennifer Lopez Surprised How Fast Her Kids Have Grown

Singer Jennifer Lopez has admitted how taken back she is at how quickly her two children have grown.

The newly American Idol judge revealed to US Weekly, that she remembers when her almost 3-year-old twins Max and Emme were only babies.

"Over this Thanksgiving week, I was sitting outside and reflecting on how fast this year had passed," she said.

"Watching your kids get bigger - my babies, how much they've grown in a year!"
