DMX Sentenced To One Year In Jail

US rapper DMX has been sentenced to one year in an Arizona jail for violating the conditions of his parole.

The rapper who was refused bail last month was sentenced on Thursday after he admitted to drinking alcohol while on probation.

The troubled rapper was previously on probation for giving a false name to escape paying a $7,500 hospital bill as well as attempted aggravated assault.

DMX Arrested Again


U.S rapper DMX has been arrested for violating his parole.

TMZ reported that the rapper was taken into custody on Thursday night in Phoenix, Arizona.

"I was in Tent City for a while. I don't take orders well or direction. He (Sheriff Joe Arpaio) said, 'You had an attitude problem'. They talk to you any kind of way.

DMX told FOX 10 News about this time in jail. "At the end of the day, I am still a man."

DMX is expected back in court for a probation hearing on November 24 .
