Alexandra Burke Second Album To Get "Down and Dirty"

Alexandra Burke has revealed her second album will take more risks claiming the album will have a more "sexier" feel.

The singer told the Daily Star newspaper"It’s got to be sexy. So I’m going to get a lot fiercer and sexier. We’re just getting down and dirty with the next album. I’m going to take a lot more risks and it’s going to be insane."

When asked if she had any big collaborations lined up for the new LP, she confessed: "I can’t say too much because my management will kill me if I let loose. But I have a special duet planned.

"I have the ideas, the collaborations in my mind - it’s all locked up in my head."

Alexandra Burke Receives Award For 4m Records Sold

Simon Cowell's record company reportedly rewarded Alexandra Burke with a special award this week for selling 4m records to date.

Burke told the News of the World newspaper that she plans to move to the U.S to record her new album.

"I am going to go for six months. I want to find an apartment in LA."

Burke also revealed that U.S producer RedOne will be working on the project, which she is hoping to release in April 2011.

Alexandra Burke's Tour Inspired By Michael Jackson

Singer Alexandra Burke has revealed that her first tour is inspired by Michael Jackson's This Is It DVD.

Burke told the Daily Record, "Going on tour is nerve-wracking in case it doesn't work. I wouldn't say I'm used to singing live because you never know what a performance will bring."

"For me, it's more about the things you don't know. I've never toured alone before so I'm excited but very scared - although not to the point that I won't go on stage. It's always good to have nerves and show you care."

She continued: "I've watched Michael Jackson's This Is It DVD about five times and all of the Beyoncé tour and have seen how people do live performances."

Burke's 21-date tour starts in Belfast on January 16.

Alexandra Burke and JLS Team Up For Clothing Line

X-Factor's home grown talents Alexandra Burke and JLS are teaming up to launch a joint clothing line next year.

The two acts will be releasing their line '2KX Clothing' in Spring 2011.

Promotion for the new brand is well on its way as social sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube have been setup with adverts of both Burke and JLS posing under the brand's logo.

Burke and JLS have been spotted wearing their designs at a number of gigs, including JLS's performance on the X Factor results show last week.

Alexandra Burke: 'I hate Being Alone'

X-Factor winner, Alexandra Burke was reduced to tears when she recently had to travel herself, claiming she hates being alone.

Alexandra told The Observer newspaper: "My sister calls me the girl that never needs a man. She says, 'You may as well just marry yourself'. But I hate being alone. That's a different ball game. The other week I went away on holiday for five days to Morocco, and it's the first time I've been away by myself. I cried on the plane. But I went to the souk, I ate every night alone, and I thought, 'I can do this'."
