50 Cent Signs X Factor's Gamu

US Hip Hop rapper 50 Cent has signed X Factor reject Gamu Nhengu to his record label.

The former X Factor contestant, who was eliminated from last year's competition at the Judges' Houses stage, is said to have penned a record deal with the rapper's label G-Note under the name Miss Gamuchirai.

Micro Blog Buzz reported that "Miss Gamuchirai has been singed to 50 Cent's new record label G-Note."

"G-Note will focus on 50's favourite acts that don't fit neatly into G-Unit's hip-hop categorisation and will favour pop and R&B artists."

The site also claims that Nhengu was forced to wait until her contract with The X Factor was over before she could agree the deal.

It said: "It is believed that many labels have been interested in signing Gamu but G-Note offered the best deal and are best connected to make her dreams reality."

As Memory Lane is paying tribute to The Soul Live Lounge next Sunday the 14th of November at Bar Music Hall, Shoreditch, we are giving you another Soul classic. Although this song was originally sang by Rock and Blues singer Bob Dylan in 1997, the song has featured many covers by Rock and Roll and Country singers . Most recently British soul singer, Adele sang a jazzy rendition of the song. However Memory Lane is giving it up to X-Factor's contestant Gamu Nhengu for her our rendition of the song. Gamu version of the song 'Make You Feel My Love' is so heart felt, it even made Judge Louie Walsh cry.
